Getting ready to fiberglass the stringers and floor. Fiber glassing is an acquired skill. Unless you have done it before, you will need some practice to get good at it. The good news is that you are going to learn on the stringers, where nobody will ever see your work. I will be doing a separate discussion of the fiberglass mixing, and therefore will not cover that here. Suffice it to say that organization and preparation are key. I set up multiple milk containers with marks at the 1QT mark. I mixed 1 QT at a time, using from 9 to 15 cc’s of the catalyst, depending on how fast I wanted it to harden. Cover areas you wish to protect with construction paper.
